Wide Receivers

James Washington – OSU

James Washington

College- Oklahoma State University

Height- 6 feet 0 inches

Weight- 205 pounds

Position- Wide Receiver

Washington is a 21 year old senior. He will be one of the first wide outs taken off the board in the 2018 NFL draft. He has great intangibles, football knowledge, and elite athleticism. Washington has great speed and is also a solid blocker. He is electric when the ball in his hands and is known for his big play ability. He is a big bodied receiver who can routinely get separation from defensive backs. Washington loves to run the 9 route and go deep but he does need to work on his route running. Right now at the college level he is bullying defensive backs on deep balls and making acrobatic catches look easy. I would say his NFL comparison is Hines Ward or Steve Smith.

NCAA Football: Pittsburgh at Oklahoma State

Overall, Washington is a solid blocker with good hands and a similar body style to Ward. Washington is one of the few who can do it all and has the ability to be a big play wide out at the next level.
