Josh Rosen

College- UCLA

Height- 6 feet 4 inches

Weight- 218 pounds

Position- Quarterback

  • Great mechanics and fundamentals
  • Very strong arm, can throw far with lots of velocity
  • Nice touch on his deep passes
  • Pocket awareness
  • Can make tight window throws
  • Good vision
  • Mobile, but likes to stay in the pocket
  • Doesn’t let pressure get to him
  • Good rhythm when passing

  • Character & off the field issues
  • Lacks leadership skills
  • Needs to work on his accuracy
  • Inconsistent
  • Only takes snap from shotgun

Josh Rosen has the potential to be a franchise quarterback at the next level. He has the arm talent alone to make big throws and get his team in winning positions, and he has great pocket awareness. Right now, Rosen may be the best college quarterback at taking his 3 steps back and finding his receiver. He also has great footwork while doing this. However, he does have some character issues on and off the field. If he can mature during this season, he could be an early to mid-second round pick.

NFL Comparison: Eli Manning
