  • Takes bad angles
  • Gets overpowered
  • Not good on the blitz
  • Misses tackles

 

Overall

McCray is a very high effort player. He displays good instincts and can diagnose what is happening in front of him. He also shows good movement skills and has great ability to disengage. He is not the best athlete but should be able to carve out a role as a backup linebacker and special teams guy. He is looking to be a 5th round pick.
