Overall
DeShon Elliot is a very versatile safety who can line up anywhere on the field. He’s got great instincts and is always around the football. His long arms help with getting pass breakups and he hits hard when he can’t break up passes. Sometimes he does take some bad angles on the play and can miss a tackle from time to time. Elliot does have the potential to be a ball hawk safety in the NFL, but it will take some time. He is looking to be a late 2nd or early 3rd round pick
